The City of Lauderhill has received from the Department of Transporation, a grant for $91,408.50 for the purchase of a 45 passenger bus. The city is required to provide a match of $10,156.50. The purchase of the bus has already been approved by the Commission

WHAT DO WE NEED THE BUS FOR
To replace the old bus that needed replacing, and wasn't working. We use this bus to transport our kids (such as for camp and kids sporting tournaments), seniors (such as to take on senior outings), and for a variety of other transportation needs (such as for special events). This bus is in much demand.
