The unofficial Lauderhill crime statistics from 2008 to 2009 is a 7.8% drop in crime. From 2007 to 2008 the official drop in crime was 8%.
Reductions were in homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, larceny and auto theft. The following is a summary of the decreases in each category over the last 4 years:
Homicide -27%
Robbery -13.79%
Aggravated assault -16%
Larceny -8.33%
Violent crime -14.86%
Auto theft -19.08%
