Home Decor Row Update
Since the Home Decor Row Program started in February, several steps have taken place. The banners that were put up started to immediately tear. Therefore they were removed, and new, stronger banners have been ordered. As soon as they are ready they will be installed.
Three new business are coming to the HDR District. Mattress and Furniture Liquidators opened at 4600 N. University Drive, Kitchen, Floor and Bath at 4931 N. University, and a Verizon store is being opened in the Babies 'R' Us Plaza.
Additional activities are ongoing. The city is working through legislation that will allow the district to conduct coordinated street sales. Maybe for Memorial Day Weekend. Also, a business association is trying to be formed.
