Armed Robber - Still At Large. Public Asked to Help
Aggravated Battery with a Firearm… Armed Robbery Case#11-05-4407.
Lauderhill detectives are investigating an aggravated battery with a firearm/armed robbery that occurred on May 19, 2011 around 10:45pm.
The victim, a 53 year old male was walking into his apartment complex (Cypress Grove, 1800 Block of N.W. 19th street) when he was approached by a black male, muscular built, 5’7”, over 200 lbs, wearing a stocking cap (Composite above).
The suspect used handgun to commit the robbery on the victim. During the robbery, the suspect struck the victim in the head with the handgun. He then placed the handgun to the left side of the victim’s neck and shot him. The suspect fled the area on foot.
The victim suffered from injuries to his neck and was transported to Broward General Hospital where he was treated and released.
