The City of Lauderhill is pleased to announce a series of Jazz Concerts, including the 4th season of Jazz Picnic in the Park. All information is tentative, and when the schedule is finalized it will be reported here, at the Lauderhill Jazz web site, and will be sent out in a Newsletter from the Mayor (to sign up go to the Lauderhill Main web site and enter your email under E-Newsletter sign up). As of this time the schedule is:
Friday, November 18, 2011, from 6 pm to 9 pm, JAZZ SURVIVORS, sponsored by Countyline Chiropractic
JAZZ PICNIC IN THE PARK: (all on the 2nd Sunday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm)
Sunday, December 11 - Blues Therapy & Jazz
Sunday, January 8 - Sound of Vision sponsored by the Inverrary Association
Sunday, February 12 - Oop Bop Sh'Bam, sponsored by the Inverrary Association
Sunday, March 11 - The Debbie Orta Jazz Quintet, sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida (with a special surprise program)
All concerts are held at the Amphitheatre at Ilene Lieberman Botanical Gardens, 3801 Inverrary Blvd., Lauderhill, next to the Inverrary Hotel. Bring your blankets, chairs, sun umbrellas, and picnic baskets (no cooking allowed). For more information contact 954-730-3000.
