FREE Back To School Immunizations & Community Resource Fair

The public is invited to join the Florida Department of Health in Broward County and community partners at a Back To School Community Resource Fair.  The Community Resource Fair and School immunizations will take place inside the Lauderhill Mall, located at 1299E NW 40^th Avenue -  Lauderhill, FL, 33313. Free Immunizations will be available for school age children (Kindergarten through High School).

COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR

Family entertainment, face painting, school supplies, fresh produce distributed by Feeding South Florida and Lauderhill Mall shop discounts. Enrollment assistance will be available for Florida KidCare (Health insurance for children), WIC (Women, Infants & Children nutrition program) and free & reduced school lunch program.  Free bicycle helmets for the first 150 children vaccinated!

FREE BACK TO SCHOOL IMMUNIZATIONS:

IMMUNIZATIONS will be offered on the following dates and times:

INSIDE THE LAUDERHILL MALL

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

August 12, 13, 15, 18 & 19    -      9:00am to 3:00pm

Thursday     August 14   -   9:00am to 7:00pm

Saturday, August 16 – 10:00am to 3:00pm

School physicals and religious exemptions will not be provided at this location.  For information on school physicals and religious exemptions call (954) 467-4705.

In order to be vaccinated, each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian should remember to bring the child’s immunization records.
