What's funny about people being told to take hurricane preparations is how very many Floridians are still homeless after last years Wilma. And why did the Weather Service lie about the strength of Wilma? It wasn't a Catagory II but nearly a 4. Could it be that they were sued before for calling the shots WRONG and placing people in harm's way as a result and would have had to pay BIG bucks to survivors for not maintaining weather equipment and resultnat loss of life had a high court not overturned the earlier judgement against the Weather Bureau. Let's face it, these dudes aren't any better at calling the shots than my little wooden weather house. If the man with the umbrella comes out it means rain. If the girl comes out it means fair weather. If the house disappears it's Florida...er, I mean a hurricane. The best hurricane preparation is LEAVE. Come back after Thanksgiving.....
