New Water Restrictions Effective Friday, April 13

At their meeting today the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District approved Phase II water restrictions for Broward County. These restrictions become effective tomorrow, Friday, April 13, 2007. For residential users (on less than 5 acres of land) this will reduce irrigation from three days per week to two. Odd numbered residences may water on Wednesday and Saturday, even numbered residences on Thursday and Sunday. Restrictions apply to all users – the only exception is those using 100% reclaimed water.
