BROWARD COUNTY TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT JAN. 7 – JAN. 14, 2011 - LAUDERHILL

Construction and maintenance work will require lane closures at various locations throughout Broward County the week of January 7 – 14, 2011, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) officials report.

SUNRISE BOULEVARD BETWEEN 56 AVENUE AND FLORIDA’S TURNPIKE TRAFFIC IMPACT:

One lane will be closed in each direction between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, through Friday, Jan. 14. Also, one lane will be closed in either direction overnight Monday, Jan. 10, through Thursday night, Jan. 13, between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. each night.

DESCRIPTION: Improvements will include removing and replacing existing pavement, replacing guardrail along the south side of Sunrise, replacing the right-of-way fence, planting landscaping along the north side of Sunrise and in the median, and constructing ADA compliant curb ramps at sidewalks and driveways.

COST/COMPLETION: The construction cost is $366,000. Completion is expected in early 2011.
