On Tuesday, July 13, the City Commission will be holding are Annual Budget Workshop. The workshop is held at City Hall beginning at 10 AM until completed. This is the time scheduled where the Commission will be reviewing over the City Managers proposed budget and tax rates for the upcoming year, 2010-2011.
Anyone wishing to hear and participate is invited. Changes to the budget need to be addressed at this meeting because afterwards it is very difficult to make any further changes absent a major issue arising.
At the end of the budget workshop, the then Commission agreed upon budget by consensus will be submitted to a regular commission meeting for 2 votes in September on 2 different days.
