Artist Book Fair "Five Headquarter" at the Lauderhill Arts Center

The Printmaking Studio at Lauderhill Arts Center, is organizing the Artist Book Fair “Five Headquarters”.

This Five Headquarters Artist Book Fair is going to be an international and simultaneous events at:

· The University of Jaen,

· Art School José Nogué, Spain.

· School of Art of Michoacán and Taller la Pintadera in Mexico University, Mexico;

· Technological University of Pereira, Colombia;

· University National of Art, Buenos Aires, Argentina

· Printmaking Studio at Lauderhill Arts Center, Florida, USA.

This fair will bring art experience to our community, participating artists and public. It will also help to popularize the genre called Artist Book produced by methods of art edition.

It is scheduled for November 13 to November 16, 2014 at the Lauderhill Arts Center, NW 19th Street and 55th Ave.  It will have activities during the whole month, like a Hand Made Paper Workshop by South Florida Association of Paper Artists and Papermaker in November 8-9 and 14, the Bilingual performance of poems and presentation of the book “Poetic Anthology of Sophia de Mello” by Nidia Hernandez Brizuela during the opening of the Artist Book Fair exhibition at LAC Gallery November 15, 2014 at 6:30 pm
