The City of Lauderhill Is Proud to Announce the Ground Breaking for the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center

The City of Lauderhill Officials will be breaking ground for Lauderhill’s State of the Art Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 10 AM.

The address to the facility is 3800 Lauderhill Avenue of the Arts (NW 11 Place), Lauderhill, FL 33313. This is located on the Northeast corner of the 441 and Sunrise Boulevard – very close to the entrance of the Central Broward Regional Park.

The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center will include a 1200-seat theatre equipped with stage, dressing rooms and state of the art sound and lighting equipment, a 10,000 square foot library with computer labs, meeting and banquet rooms, outdoor plazas, public art, and a full catering kitchen. It will provide a modern venue for performances, classes, meetings, social gatherings and more.

Join the team who has designed and will build our community’s cultural jewel – at the Ground Breaking:

- Designer Cecil Hayes - founder of Cecil's Designers Unlimited
- Public Artist Alison Sky
- Builders D. Stephenson Construction, Inc.

Construction should be complete in 2012.
