On November 2, the voters decided to return Commissioner Margaret Bates to Seat 3, and to elect Commissioner-Elect Ken Thurston to the open Seat 2. Both are 2 year terms. In 2012, Seat 1, 2, and 3 will be up for election.
Swearing in for the City Commission, including for the Re-election of Mayor Richard J Kaplan, and Commissioner Hayward Benson to Seat 4, both for 4 year terms, will be on Tuesday November 16, 12 noon, at City Hall. All are invited.
