Explore Adoption

Explore Adoption mission is to find families for Florida's Kids. Childnet is working to find parents to adopt children. On any given day, about 850 Florida children are looking for a family to love them, and a permanent place to call home.

Adopting a children through the public adoption system costs little or nothing. The children often receive a monthly subsidy, and if so, are eligible to receive health care through the Medicaid program until age 18. They are also eligible for free tuition at any state university, community college or vocational school in Florida.

The Florida Adoption Information Center will put you in touch with people in your area who will help you begin the adoption process. Call 800-96-ADOPT or www.adoptflorida.org. Your local adoption recruiter is Childnet, Lanecia Radcliff, 954-336-3448, LRadcliff@childnet.us.
