Tri-Rail's new automated fare collection system is here! You can now use your EASY Card to pay your fare. Add up to $150 cash value to your EASY Card to pay your fare or load your card with different fare products including a Monthly Pass, 12-Trip Pass or daily passes.
The EASY Card, which costs $2, contains an embedded computer chip that automatically deducts your fare when you tap the card on any of the new validators that are clearly marked and located on all station platforms. Tap on prior to board the train then tap off when you exit to complete your trip. It's EASY.

Note: This is the first step towards creating a Universal Fare Card. Miami-Dade Transit has teamed up with Tri-Rail. At present, Broward Transit and Palm Tram (Palm Beach Transit) have not joined in.
