· One lane in
each direction of Oakland Park Boulevard will be closed Monday through Friday
between 9:30 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Description:
Project
improvements include widening Oakland Park Boulevard west of NW 56th Avenue to
add a second left turn lane from eastbound Oakland Park Boulevard to northbound
NW 56th Avenue; removing old asphalt and resurfacing the intersection;
constructing ADA compliant ramps; upgrading the existing traffic signal and mast
arm on the southeast corner of the intersection; and upgrading lighting, signs,
drainage, and pavement markings.
Cost/Completion:
$498,953.
Completion in fall 2014.
